Welcome.
You probably came to this site wondering just what is U-Learn 2012? It's a shortened way of saying Universal Design for Learning. You will want to jump immediately to the FAQ page to get the whole story though and to see how it affects you.
In addition to the FAQ page, there is a page with links to various tutorials on how to make your documents accessible. Topics covered include Universal Design, PDFs, Word documents, Power Point, web pages, and audio/video files.
The Further Help page has information on where to go for more information and to find someone to help you understand accessible technology.
We hope these pages give you a quick, understandable introduction to Universal Design for Learning and what it means to you and your students. For more help on campus contact the Digital Campus (278-6892) or Services for Students with Disabilities (278-2811). There is more information about these two departments on the Further Help page.
May ULearn Bulletin Available
The May issue of the ULearn Bulletin is now available for downloading. This month you will find information on some accessible resources coming up. These are the Digital Campus open labs, a petting zoo (e-book readers and other technology), and information about funds available for developing an accessible syllabus. There is also a paragraph about changes to the Library's Electronic E-Reserves.
